This Privacy Policy explains how Get Diminished Value, operated by a Wyoming limited liability company ("we," "us"), collects, uses and shares personal information when you use getdiminishedvalue.com and our services (the "Service").

1. Summary

• We collect what we need to estimate your vehicle's diminished value and deliver your report.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Analytics and advertising cookies run only after you consent. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
• We delete free-estimate data after 30 days and uploaded documents 180 days after delivery (see Section 7).
• Please do not upload driver's license numbers, Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or medical information.

2. Information we collect

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information and ask you not to upload it. If a document you upload contains it, we use it only as needed to provide the Service and delete it on the schedule in Section 7.

3. How we use information

• To provide the free estimate and generate, deliver and correct your report and templates.
• To process payments, calculate taxes, issue refunds and prevent fraud (for example, duplicate refund requests for the same vehicle).
• To communicate with you about your order and respond to support requests.
• To send marketing emails, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To measure and improve the Service and our advertising, using analytics only with your consent.
• To create de-identified, aggregated statistics (for example, average estimates by state, or claim outcomes reported through the optional survey) that do not identify you.
• To comply with law, enforce our Terms and protect our rights and users.

We do not use your identifiable documents or inputs to train software models.

If you subscribe to Claim Assistant, we also keep a record of your agreement to the renewal terms (the date, the version of the text you agreed to) for as long as the law requires us to be able to prove it, and at least one year after the subscription ends. Insurer responses and offers you add while subscribed are kept with the rest of your claim documents and follow the retention schedule below.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only as follows:

We never send your information to an insurance company. Only you decide whether to send your report or letter to anyone.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

• Strictly necessary cookies: always on.
• Analytics and advertising cookies and pixels (for example, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement): load only after you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. "Decline" is as easy as "Accept". You can change your choice at any time via cookie settings.
• Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing and of non-essential advertising cookies.
• We do not use session-replay tools.

6. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live in the US, you may ask us to:

• access the personal information we hold about you, or get a portable copy;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your personal information (subject to legal retention needs, such as tax records);
• opt out of marketing emails (link in every email) and of analytics/advertising cookies.

How to make a request: email privacy@getdiminishedvalue.com from the address on your order. We may verify your identity before acting. We respond within 45 days, and may extend once where the law permits.

• Authorized agents: may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
• Appeals: if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with "Appeal" in the subject. We will respond within the time required by your state's law.
• Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

State-specific rights. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and others) may have additional rights under those laws. We honor them as applicable.

• California "Shine the Light": we do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
• Nevada: we do not sell covered information.

• We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest for stored documents, access controls and vendor security reviews.
• No system is completely secure. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Where we process data

We are a US company, and we primarily store data in the United States. Some service providers may process data in other countries under contractual safeguards.

11. Changes to this Policy

We will post updates here with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify customers with active orders by email.
